Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten

New opportunity based in Warsaw, Poland for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the Bruker Global Finance Team.  Reporting directly to the Corporate General and Administration (G&A) Controller, this role supports business partnering with the Corporate G&A business functions (Corporate HQ, Global IT, Regional Finance) and related financial management activities, including monthly/quarterly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, investment analysis, spending controls, internal controls and audit, and various ad hoc requests. Assures compliance with relevant policies and controls. Provides high quality financial reporting and business insights. The primary responsibility of the role will be supporting the Chief Information Officer and the Global Information Technology (IT) organization.

  • Drive monthly closing and reporting process for G&A business functions including compiling cost information, reviewing details, understanding variances, investigating discrepancies and working with regional accounting teams to make necessary adjustments
  • Support the development of the annual business plan and quarterly forecast processes for operating and capital expenditures.
  • Assist with development of long-term strategic plan including allocation of resources and alignment of initiatives with business objectives
  • Establish business partnering relationship with key managers in Global IT organization and provide support regarding overall alignment of initiatives and local budgets
  • Assist Global IT management teams with day-to-day finance support needs
  • Support analysis of G&A investments and preparation of related business case materials
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and planning processes for Global IT organizations
  • Identify and implement best practices across functions including improvements to maximize insights and accuracy for all phases of the planning cycle: Forecast, Business Plan, Strategic Plan
  • Ensure effective project and expenditure oversight including the development of appropriate analytics and performance metrics as well as the reporting tools and processes to ensure appropriate visibility and monitoring of performance
  • Supporting internal controls and audit requests
  • Requires written, oral, and reading English fluency with polished communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor and/or Master degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive financial reporting and control and corporate financial planning and analysis work experience within a complex, multi-entity and multi-national environment
  • Written, oral, and reading English fluency with polished communication, presentation and interpersonal skills required
  • Proven work experience with a Tier 1 ERP (SAP)
  • Advanced systems and technology aptitude including a working knowledge of performance management, data modeling, financial analysis and reporting tools (work experience with BPC and/or Hyperion strongly preferred)
  • Advanced work experience with Microsoft Suite products
  • Strong working knowledge of systems, analytical tools, financial modeling, and data management
  • Demonstrated ability to build, prepare, and present clear, concise, and effective presentations
  • Proven ability to deliver insightful, timely, and credible analysis to support decisions
  • Effective project management skills within a large complex multinational organization
  • Ability to juggle priorities without sacrificing quality and timeliness
  • Mature and confident with ability to collaborate within a team and operate independently
  • Intellectually curious with a focus on continuous improvement
  • High energy self-starter with history of successful accomplishments
  • Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident location required and reliable transportation
  • Maintain a valid passport with flexibility for domestic and international travel
  • May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
