Service & Support Engineer (m/f/d)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Customer support and troubleshooting via phone and email
• Analyze malfunctioning measurement systems and determine corrective action, replace faulty components, and make necessary adjustments and alignments
• Spare part management
• Prepare and submits reports covering all job activities with accuracy and detail
• Participate in on-the-job training of field service personnel when required
• Suggest methods to offer improvement to equipment performance and functionality
• Keep up-to-date on new product and product changes within his/her required sphere of activity to increase own capabilities and skills
• Travel to customer locations worldwide up to 70%
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration according to written procedures
• Conduct all field assignments according to service department procedures
• Perform other tasks as assigned by manager or supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• You have already gained initial experience in the field of measurement technology or mechanical engineering (professional experience and/or technical studies / HTL)
• A positive approach to dealing with our customers and a committed, professional manner are a matter of course
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 70%
• We are looking for an independent person with a wide range of interests and a hands-on mentality.
• Very good English and German language skills are necessary to ensure communication with customers and colleagues.
