The Bruker Nano Analytics (BNA) Division, headquartered at Bruker Nano GmbH in Berlin, Germany, develops, manufactures, and markets analytical instruments for electron microscopes, X-ray systems and components, allowing materials characterization down to the nanoscale.

 

We are looking for an Electronics Development Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in Berlin.

Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten

Main field of responsibility is to ensure the competitiveness of the employer's products by developing innovative and economical solutions in the field of electronics design engineering with special focus on testing both for hardware and firmware including testing automation. The position covers the full development process from idea to product.

  • Design and implementation of testing strategies for complex analog and digital circuit boards.
  • Development and design of test fixtures and modules needed to interface the DUT boards.
  • Setting-Up operation of electronic boards with proper documentation.
  • Preparation and execution of system level testing.
  • Design of unit tests and testing automation.
  • Supporting and enhancing development projects to productize new products.
  • Documentation, archiving and maintenance of all product data.
  • Cooperation and coordination of internal and external partners.

Qualifikationen

  • University degree in electrical engineering, information technology or a related field
  • extensive knowledge in analog and digital circuit design
  • knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded processors, SoCs
  • subject specific technical knowledge and expertise
  • an eye for detail and a methodical work process
  • IT and CAD knowledge (i.e. Altium, MPLAB)
  • analytical and numeracy skills, creative problem solving ability
  • the ability to successfully contribute to team work using effective communication skills to liaise with team members, clients, contractors and others involved in the design process
  • efficient in written communication as well as being able to write reports
  • time management, organisation, and the ability to work to deadlines
  • a flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change
  • a driven, self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative
  • capable of working in an international team
