This new role will drive the adoption and maximization of Artificial Intelligence within Bruker BioSpin, leading to increased productivity, innovation, and growth.

The Corporate AI Incubator at Bruker BioSpin is responsible for integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Bruker BioSpin Business Processes and ensuring its successful adoption. The role aims to maximize the benefits of AI by fostering innovation and growth in a start-up-like environment. The individual will explore new growth areas, develop new business ideas, and work towards establishing an operational and strategic understanding of AI across all departments.

The role encompasses working with various AI elements such as generative AI, large language models, and other machine learning elements. The individual will work closely with key functions, such as R&D, Operations, Product Management, and key administrative group functions (such as Finance, Q&RA, Marketing, HR) and will identify areas and tools that enable these teams to achieve higher productivity through working with AI.

Furthermore, the role involves continuously monitoring the health status related to AI implementation, ensuring data protection and IT compliance. The individual will also establish pilots with clear results and build up minimal viable products for implementation.

• Lead efforts to integrate AI into the Bruker BioSpin’s Process House, aiming to increase productivity, innovation, and growth.
• Explore new growth areas, develop and validate new business ideas, and foster an environment that encourages innovation with AI.
• Evaluate and select projects based on their feasibility, potential impact, alignment with corporate strategy, and market demand.
• Provide technical and business mentorship to the teams and provide access to tools for the development and testing of AI prototypes.
• Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions to upskill the teams in the latest AI technologies and methodologies.
• Establish partnerships with universities, research institutions, technology providers, and other corporate incubators to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
• Continuously monitor the health status related to AI implementation, ensuring data protection and IT compliance and monitoring project status against milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure that all AI projects adhere to ethical guidelines and standards, respecting privacy and avoiding bias.
• Establish AI pilots with clear results and build up minimal viable products for implementation.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Development, or Entrepreuerialship
• Proven experience or track record in AI, machine learning, data/data analytics/data science or software development
• 5y+ experience working in a business context on AI-related projects, product development or automation
• 1y+ more years of experience working with entrepreneurs, with knowledge of business development or transformation
