Bruker Microbiology & Infection Diagnostics (BMID) provides advanced solutions for the rapid identification and analysis of microorganisms, supporting both clinical microbiologists and those in industrial and applied microbiology. Their technologies are designed to address the increasing diversity and complexity of microorganisms that infect humans and animals. Recently they have expanded into Molecular Diagnostics and other diagnostics solutions through various acquisitions including ElitechGroup which closed in May 2024.

 

We are looking as of now in full-time for our office in Bremen for our BMID division a Operational Product Manager (m/f/d)

Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten

The Operational Product Manager (m/f/d) assists the Product Management team, supports daily tasks, implements product strategies, maintains roadmap execution, tracks performance metrics, collaborates with cross-functional teams, generates part numbers, plans product launches, manages inventory, facilitates product updates, addresses inquiries, and continuously learns best practices.

 

  • Assist the Product Management (PM) team while developing PM skills under the guidance of Senior PMs
  • Support the PM development team with daily tasks, facilitate coordination between BMID teams and ensure smooth communication, including managing the PM group mailbox and handle basic requests
  • Assist in implementing product strategies, aligning with business goals, and ensuring smooth execution throughout the product lifecycle
  • Help maintaining roadmap execution and backlog, track deliverables to ensure timely execution
  • Track key product performance metrics, analyze trends, support escalation calls and provide insights to improve product outcomes
  • Work closely with PM team, marketing, program and project managers, R&D teams to support product related initiatives and ensure alignment:
    • Generate new part numbers and coordinate with MasterData and ComExc, maintain Sales Texts and relevant technical product customer facing documentation as requested by peer PMs
    • Assist in planning and executing product launches, creating marketing collateral, product documentation, and sales enablement materials.
    • Support with loan & demo contracts, and refurbished system inventory management
    • Facilitate product updates, finalization of SBN, including SFDC configurator testing and communications to sales and applications and B2B manager
  • Address product-related inquiries, gather feedback from customers and sales teams, and relay insights to the PM team
  • Continuously learn product management best practices, contribute to process optimization, and support efficiency improvements in product operations

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus) or relevant years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, Program Management, Team or Project Leading related role.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) and product development processes.
  • Familiarity with market analysis, competitive research, and product strategy execution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Asana)
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce (SFDC), PowerBi is a plus.
  • Knowledge of technical documentation and IVD regulatory compliance considerations is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a structured manner.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic, evolving product environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Experience working with product roadmaps, backlog management, and agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Ideally fluent in German and English
