The Bruker Nano Analytics (BNA) Division, headquartered at Bruker Nano GmbH in Berlin, Germany, develops, manufactures and markets state of the art systems and components for elemental and structural analysis on micro- and nano-scale, including X-ray spectrometers for elemental analysis on electron microscopes (EDS, WDS, EBSD), as well as micro X-ray fluorescence (µXRF) and total reflection X-ray fluorescence (TXRF) spectrometers.

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team in Berlin as QA Engineer (m/f/d). 

• Ensuring the quality of delivered products based on defined key figures including deviation and error analysis as well as initiating and supporting problem-solving procedures using harmonized processes, standardized quality methods, and structured problem-solving techniques to continuously meet our quality requirements.

• Development of quality metrics for all manufacturing processes, evaluation of product quality and process safety using statistical methods, analysis, and reporting for management.

• In collaboration with the purchasing department, deviation analysis of the supply chain and, if necessary, initiation of corrective measures, creation of regular evaluations to ensure the "right first time" premise.

• Conducting internal and external audits to ensure product quality.

• Interface management with the development department during product testing and product launch. Management and processing of design changes in coordination with the development department.

• Development and maintenance of measurement and testing facilities for electronic and mechatronic components and systems in collaboration with the development department as well as external suppliers.

• Continuous support for production in all technical and quality-related issues, as well as ensuring efficient and optimized production processes. Development of technical solutions and documentation of the necessary steps in the event of production disruptions. Troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical components as well as devices and system components for use in X-ray analytics.

• Identification of optimization potentials, weaknesses, and performance reserves in production, as well as deriving optimization measures to reduce production costs

• Instruction and guidance of production and service employees in work tasks and processes, as well as conducting training and educational measures.

• Support for production and purchasing in supplier selection, outsourcing projects, and related cost calculations.

• Bachelor / Master / Engineer in Electronics / Electrical Engineering

• Several years of practical professional experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role with practical experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methods

• Extensive professional experience in device and prototype construction

• Solid knowledge in the field of high-frequency and communication technology

• Good material knowledge and experience in CAD are advantageous

• Practical experience with supplier audits (system and process), quality inspection (PAP), quality planning (e.g. APQP), multiple customer-supplier relationships

• Expertise and practical experience in problem-solving and root cause analysis (8D, etc.), as well as with quality methods and tools (CAPA, RCA, FMEA, ...)

• Familiarity with statistical analyses to evaluate quality performance

• You have excellent communication and teamwork skills and show strong commitment to achieving set goals.

• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form (B2/C1 level)
