Our software products are based on modern, service-oriented architectures and include web-based client applications as well as established backend systems.

 

As a Software Project Manager, you will take technical and organizational ownership of software development projects throughout the entire software lifecycle. Working closely with Product Management, software developers, testers, application specialists and other stakeholders, you will translate product needs, use cases and feature requests into structured software requirements, technical documentation and actionable development tasks. You will coordinate implementation, testing, verification, validation and release activities. Depending on the project, you may be responsible for research-use-only software or regulated IVD software products. Our development processes are adapted to the respective product context and are based on established software lifecycle practices as well as applicable quality, regulatory and cybersecurity requirements.

Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten

  • Lead software development projects from planning through successful delivery, managing priorities, timelines, risks and progress
  • Work closely with Product Management to translate product needs, use cases and feature requests into clear software requirements and actionable development tasks
  • Coordinate implementation and decision-making across software developers, testers, application specialists and other stakeholders
  • Create and maintain software project documentation and ensure traceability from requirements through implementation and testing
  • Plan and coordinate testing, verification and validation activities, including the required systems, data and resources

Qualifikationen

  • Experience managing or coordinating software development projects
  • Ability to understand software development concepts and processes
  • Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Strong organizational, planning and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Structured, proactive and solution-oriented working style
  • Very good German communication skills (B2 or higher)
  • Good written and spoken English skills (B1 or higher)

It would be a plus if you have

  • Experience in regulated or quality-focused software development environments, such as medical devices, diagnostics or healthcare software
  • Familiarity with software lifecycle, quality and cybersecurity requirements in regulated or quality-focused development environments
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, such as IEC 62304, IEC 82304-1 or the European IVDR
  • Experience working in an interdisciplinary R&D environment
  • Experience with software quality processes, requirements traceability, verification, validation or technical documentation
