    New opportunity for an Applications Engineer (Service Specialist) to join the Bruker BioSpin Service and Lifecycle Support Team based in Rehevot, Israel

    • The new Service Specialist will be allocated in Rehevot, providing easier and faster access to our installed base in Rehevot.
    • Maintenance and installation of NMR equipment in Israel.
    • Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment.
    • Coordinate problem resolution with other departments including engineering, customer service, sales and applications to expedite repairs.
    • Develop and conduct training on the safe operation of equipment and demonstrate skills to trainees, including team members and customers.
    • Plan and coordinate equipment installation activities, including investigation and resolution of customer reports of technical concerns with advanced testing equipment.
    • Support the customer in the technical specifications of the laboratory.
    • Install new or modified systems or accessories at customer's facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications.
    • Review performance reports and documentation from customers and field representatives, inspect malfunctioning or damaged product to determine nature and scope of problem.
    • Analyze review and inspection findings to determine source of problem, and recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective action.
    • Serve as a communication link between the customer and the company to ensure effective service is provided to the customer.
    • Perform other duties as required.


    • Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. level chemist, biochemist, physicist or engineer with NMR work experience.
    • Demonstrated familiarity with a variety of NMR experiments and laboratory experience.
    • Proven experience and ability with spectrometer hardware and troubleshooting hardware problems.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
    • Knowledge of Internet software, working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux (basic) operating systems, Microsoft Office.
    • Good knowledge and regular use of written and spoken English.
    • Valid Drivers’ License in good standing required.
    • Valid passport and able to travel extensively both domestic and international travel.
    • Position job duties require the employee to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear; also frequently required to stand; walk; sit and reach with hands and arms; occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
