    The job holder has the responsibility to conduct for Bruker's AST portfolio analysis of opportunities, distribution requirements, regulatory requirements and sales channels required to produce required revenues and gross profit margins expected and would be responsible for revenue generation for the product line assigned in EMEA with initial focus on UK, France.

    In this position, your tasks will include the following:

    • Conduct market research on market size, competitive products (technical and pricing) and customer requirements in the clinical, veterinary, and research AST market for EMEA.
    • Create and present business analysis of market opportunity, entry costs and launch plan if favorable.
    • Building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders within assigned territory.
    • Responsibility to deliver sales revenue goals for respective products.
    • Visiting microbiology labs to establish interest in products and generate demand from technicians, lab manager, clinicians, and economic buyers. Providing kits for product evaluations, application training and closing the sales for product adoption in the microbiology labs.
    • Attend & present products at AST specific events to generate leads and interest in the diagnostic kits.
    • Work with colleagues in Business Area Microbiology & Diagnostics to share market information, competitor activities, customer feedback, new ideas and experiences to ensure team is briefed and aware of ongoing activities in the region.
    • Collaborate on creation of sales training and collateral materials required for sales channel selected.
    • Visit microbiology labs and KOL contacts to establish interest and demand for AST products within the EMEA region.
    • Coordinate local sales activities with the local Commercial Team (Sales, Applications), as appropriate, to maintain good local communication and approach.
    • Provide product presentations and evaluation kits for product assessment; ensuring customers are trained on how to use the kits and understand the value.
    • Establish & attend suitable events to attend in region and generate customer leads and contacts to support ongoing growth and expansion of sales.
    • Provide regular market and product feedback to the Business Area team, so sales tools can be created and updated as required.
    • Prepare reports and notes on customer meetings; keep CRM upto date.
    • Achieve sales revenue goals: analyze ongoing performance, identify gaps and propose initiatives to address if they appear.





    • Degree level qualification in a Life Science subject, ideally in Biology or Chemistry
    • Clear understanding of the Microbiology Consumable market, preferably with knowledge of Sepsis, AST and Fungi testing
    • Good market intelligence with respect to competitive products and vendors
    • Ability to identify and work with dealer partners
    • Experience in sales management
    • Ability to travel internationally
    • Tenacity and self-motivation inspired by success, enthusiasm, drive and initiative directed towards sales growth
    • Ability to operate alone and to meet ambitious but achievable targets, particularly with regard to sales success
    • Self-discipline and the ability to decide priorities in a rapidly changing commercial environment
    • Outgoing and likeable personality with a high degree of personal integrity

    • Ability to comply with local cultural differences
    • Excellent verbal, written, computer and technical communication and presentation skills
    • Speaking and writing English fluently is a must, French is a plus.
