  • Development and operational implementation of the MarCom and marketing strategy for service
  • Management of the service contract product portfolio
  • Development of strategic and business plans for service
  • Supporting the commercial and support organisations in development, implementation and execution of efficient service processes to deliver world-class service
  • Ensuring consistent, operationally useful reporting for service, for all service in BDAL (revenue, costs, margin, inventory, P&L, pricing, ASPs, and other KPIs…)
  • Definition of reporting policies and processes (all global for BDAL), setting these up in SAP (ERP, CRM, ISM) and QMS, and provide training for them
  • Performing trend analysis of service KPIs (ASPs of contracts, parts, billable, usage of hours spent by service organisation, goodwill, warranty, parts movements, return of parts sent out, inventories (in factory, local in distribution hubs, in-transit, ...) as well as profitability analysis by contract, customer, …
  • Definition of global operating model for the global service organisations
  • All actions need to be done in alignment with commercial and service management, and others in BDAL as needed



  • Educational background in engineering
  • 3+ years experience in service management
  • Thorough understanding of a service organisation
  • Thorough (3+ years) knowledge of SAP (ERP, CRM) for a globally distributed organisation (several plants, around 20 local commercial organisations)
  • Thorough (3+ years) knowledge of KPI reporting, service processes and service marketing for such an organisation
  • Fluent in German and English, other languages helpful
  • Strong communication abilities (inbound & outbound) and ability to drive change
  • Team Player; ability to work effectively in a global matrix organisation
  • Strong ability to make decisions and execute them and have them executed
  • Willingness to travel internationally (15-25%)
