    The Application Specialist (m/f) for Elemental Analysis is responsible for application measurements, instrument demonstrations and customer trainings to support our international sales team. The job will be based in our center of excellence for Elemental Analysis in Karlsruhe (Germany). Our customers are mainly in the industrial markets, such as metal production and processing, ceramics, cement, environmental, petrochemical.


    • Analysis of customer samples regarding the elemental concentrations of Carbon / Sulfur or Oxygen/ Nitrogen /Hydrogen to support our sales projects
    • Creation of analytical lab reports
    • Instrument demonstrations for customers
    • Customer trainings
    • After sales support based on analytical questions
    • Presentations on sales meetings, symposia, workshops, and conferences


    • Education in an area like analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, chemical engineering or related fields with a reasonable experience in laboratory work
    • Solid understanding of elemental analysis of inorganic materials
    • Experience with analytical instrumentation
    • Self-motivated
    • Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
    • Good communication skills
    • Strong customer orientation
    • Driving license Class B
    • Fluent German and English is mandatory
    • Ability to travel internationally (about 25 % of the time)
