    The Clinical market covers, amongst others, all clinical market sub-segments: Clinical/translational Research, Precision Medicine; Biobank (Gov’t, Commercial and Hospital); Foodomics; Exposomics, Diagnostic Testing Labs; hospitals and also covers solutions under certification (IVD-CE, FDA, C-FDA).

    The Market Manager is responsible for developing a focused Growth Strategy in the Clinical market in alignment with AIC’s strategic Plan and the successful execution thereof. He/She will gradually increase AIC’s market share in the Clinical Markets with a competitive and value rich end-to-end solution portfolio. He/She understands well the Clinical market dynamics and has deep insight in its market sub-segments. 

     

    As member of AIC Management Team, he/she will take direct responsibility for a few selected strategic Clinical Key Accounts (KA), which have a multiplication and scaling role in H1,2 – clinical sub-segments, and in which he/she maximizes AIC’s account share.

    Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten

    • Develops and executes a focused 3-Horizon Growth Strategy for the Clinical Market in alignment with AIC Strategy in cooperation with the Head of Application Development team.
    • Has accountability for Business Performance (Gross Margin, Return on Investment, New Product Vitality Rate, Time to Money) in Clinical Market
    • Establishes a uniquely differentiated and value-rich solution offering with an attractive and competitive total cost of ownership, developing new business models for the clinical market
    • Understands well the competitiveness, in terms of method and company
    • Develops co-existing market positioning of MS and NMR based screening
    • Leads Lean Customer Development in Clinical Market from which he/she develops a new solution / offering and as such expands the Clinical solution portfolio: identifies customers’ pain points / creates new winning concepts in cooperation with customers and  with clinical application development
    • In Go-to-Launch, the Market Manager takes the lead of the launch marketing plan and the Sales & Marketing presentation which is the basis for and enables Solution / Value Based Selling of the new solution
    • Will closely work with the AIC Global Head of Sales to identify a balanced mix of Global & Domestic accounts as potential customers to qualify & maximize AIC’s business potential for a “Design-In” according to Miller Heiman methodology and to establish sustainable business co-operations with their Decision & Buyer Center in order to deliver the business performance (NOB, Revenue, GM) according to the annual and quarterly plan
    • Will closely partner with Application Development Clinical (Screening) and CTO
    • Will closely work with BBIO Marcom to define business relevant Outbound Marketing Programs (new solution launches and lead generation programs)
    • Acts as Product Manager Clinical ad interim to drive the Clinical Product Lifecylce Gate Review process, incl Go-to-Launch of a new Clinical solution in cooperation with TPM Clinical Screening

     

     

    Qualifikationen

    • A demonstrable track record in building a market leading product portfolio with sustainable growth (top and bottom line) in the clinical arena
    • Deep understanding and insight of the various Clinical sub-segments.
    • Visionary when it comes to establishing a novel technology as a defacto market standard
    • In-depth understanding of the dynamics and trends in his/her market: adoption rates, adoption hurdles, price elasticity as well as use cases and new business concepts for the clinical market
    • A strong and progressive business professional with excellent communication skills. A demonstratable self-starter and highly motivated professional with experience in working with and developing high performance teams.
    • A skilled team player and people manager who will enhance the performance of the AIC leadership team and will complement the capabilities already in place. Strong work ethic and stamina essential for this role.
    • Highly self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, experience developing high performance teams within a global, multi-cultural organization, and demonstrated excitement for new challenges and opportunity.
    • Basic NMR knowledge
    • Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical and proposal communication and presentation skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite, Sales Force and Miller Heiman.
