The job holder has the responsibility to develop product strategies and roadmaps of the Service and Aftersales Product Portfolio. This includes managing Service Parts, Contracts, Software and Consumable products throughout the complete product lifecycle. Following the company strategy and goals, the Product Manager drives cross-functional cooperation to ensure customer success and the realization of revenue and profitability targets.


The main tasks are:

  • Managing the Service and Aftersales portfolio throughout the product lifecycle
  • Managing the global Aftermarket Sales team
  • Development of Sales Strategies that result in Pricing, Sales and Revenue plans
  • Ensuring a globally harmonized, customer success-oriented market approach
  • Driving cross-functional cooperation of System Product Management, Sales and Logistics
  • Preparation of product presentations, Sales workshops and trainings
  • Support of global teams during the launch of new product and through the whole product lifecycle
  • Managing sales prices and Terms & Conditions in close alignment with local teams
  • Identifying trends, market- and customer requirements to enhance the product offering


  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business Adminstration or equivalent
  • Ideally several years of experience in product management or development
  • Preferably experience in the Lifescience, Biotechnology or Clinical Market segment
  • Business sense and result-driven mentality
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Structured and accurate mode of operation, creativity and "out-of-the-box" thinking
  • Experience in working with SAP and Salesforce CRM
  • Fluent in English and German
